The journal Kraieznavstvo in matters of copyright is guided by the Law of Ukraine «Про авторське право і суміжні права» and publishes articles based on a licensing agreement concluded between the institution-publisher of the periodical (licensee) and the author(s) of the work submitted for publication in the periodical (licensor(s)).
Copyright remains with the author. The publisher allows the author to retain (deposit) the final version of the article (the Author’s Accepted Manuscript — AAM) in an institutional or subject repository, where it is made openly accessible, ensuring maximum visibility and impact of the publication.
The author confirms that the submitted material:
- Does not violate the copyrights of other individuals or organizations;
- Has not been previously published in other publications and has not been submitted for publication elsewhere.
The rights transferred by the author to the editorial board of Kraieznavstvo include, in particular, the rights to:
- Publish the article in Ukrainian or English and distribute its printed version;
- Translate the article into English (for articles in Ukrainian) and distribute the printed version of the translation;
- Distribute the electronic version of the article, as well as the electronic version of the English translation (for articles in Ukrainian) via any electronic means (posting on the official website of the journal, in electronic databases, repositories, etc.).
The author retains the right, without the consent of the editorial board or founders, to:
- Use the article materials in whole or in part for educational purposes;
- Use the article materials in whole or in part for writing their own dissertations;
- Use the article materials for preparing abstracts, conference reports, and oral presentations;
- In all cases, a bibliographic reference to the article or a hyperlink to its electronic copy on the journal’s official website is mandatory.
Kraieznavstvo publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) 4.0. license. This allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, cite, or link to the full text of the article in this scientific publication.
